The Fleece Fur Ice Halo wraps snugly and comfortably around your head and secures at the side with adjustable Velcro closures to provide secure protection if you fall and hit your head.

The thickness of the fleece halo is 1 inch. It is bulkier than the HD Halo, which is .5 inches.
Ice Halo products are designed to reduce the risks of impact to head during participation in non-contact sports and activities including figure skating. They cannot and do not prevent all risk of head injuries. Participation in curling, Figure Skating and other sports exposes the participant to the risk of injuries, and participation in such sports implies acceptance of such risk.
Wearing instructions for the fleece Halo
The Velcro must be on the side of the head. Starting at either side of the head, wrap the Halo across the forehead, just above the tip of the ear, cover the widest part of the back of your head and back to the Velcro. Adjust to ensure it will stay in place in case of a fall in order for it to help lessen the impact of your fall. Once the Halo fits the way you like, you no longer have to undo the Velcro except to adjust for fit.
How to measure head circumference for the Fleece Ice Halo
Using a cloth measuring tape, start at the middle of the forehead just above the eye brows, follow around to just above the tips of the ears, go around the back where it sticks out the most, continue past the other ear just above the tip, until you return to the middle of the forehead. This measurement is the head circumference.
Use the chart below for the correct sizing - bearing in mind there is a 2" variance with the Velcro closure. If you are on the boarder of two sizes, always order the larger size.

X-Small fits 18 up to 20 inches (46 to 51 cm)
Small fits 20 up to 22 inches (51 to 56 cm)
Medium fit 22 up to 24 inches (56 to 61 cm)
Large fits 24 up to 26 inches (61 to 66 cm)
Washing instruction for Fleece Headband
Fleece Ice Halos can be machine washed with your regular laundry and dried on low heat in the dryer. Do not iron.

Ice Halo Products are tested in one of the top impact testing facilities in the world, using the Hockey Helmet Standard (CSA Z262.1-09 (April 2009) Annex A, Impact Drop Testing). Ice Halo products pass the standard requirements for front, side and back impact.
