Most Risport boots are crafted from high-quality leather or microfibre with water-repellent treatments, helping protect them during regular use. However, routine cleaning and drying will keep your figure skating boots performing at their best.
🧼 Daily Care for Figure Skates
After every skating session:
- Dry your figure skates thoroughly inside and out using a soft cloth or chamois
- Remove excess moisture to prevent damage and maintain boot structure
- Wipe down blades so they don't rust

- Loosen the laces completely
- Pull the tongue forward to open the boot fully
- Allow boots to air dry at room temperature in a well-ventilated area
